Miami Yachts charters private yachts in Miami, Florida, and takes bookings by phone, by text, and through the Miami Yachts app. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

• Booking details — your name, email address, phone number, the date and time you want, the number of guests, and any extras you add.
• Payment details — handled by Stripe. We keep a record of the amount and status of your deposit; we never see or store your card number.
• Text messaging consent — whether you agreed to receive text messages, and the exact wording you agreed to.

Text messages

We send text messages only to people who have asked for them. Those messages are about a charter you booked or asked about: confirmation, the departure marina and time, payment reminders, and changes caused by weather or the captain's schedule. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of booking a charter, and it is never shared with or sold to anyone.

Who else sees your information

• Stripe — to take deposits and send invoices.
• Our messaging provider — to deliver the text messages you asked for.
• The owner of the yacht you booked — the charterer's name, the date, and the guest count, so the boat is ready and the captain knows who is coming.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone else, and we do not send marketing texts.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept as long as the law and our accounting require. Text messaging consent records are kept for as long as we might send you a text, plus four years.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or email or call us and we will record it. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.
